I will be there with my son again. We cant wait
If you talk to the animals they will talk with you and you will know each other. If you do not talk to them
you will not know them, and what you do not know
you will fear. What one fears one destroys.

God willing I will make it this year.  Missed it last year.  I need to get the dates and get it on the family calendar.

My daughter Mattie and I will be their again. She had a great time last year. Playing in the mud with the other kids was her highlight of the trip.

Stickbowguy
I just started a new job in Traverse City last November. I commute from Muskegon on the weekends and stay there during the week.
I go to Compton’s every year and I’m hoping to go this year. I grew up in the Berrien Springs area and my brother is on the board of the Berrien Springs Sportsmen club.
In the past I go down on Thursday afternoon and stay until Sunday but I’m not sure yet on how long I’m going to stay this year. It’s usually a family event for my brother, me and our boy’s. I also hook up with club members from Muskegon Bowmen and we’ll shoot together. You would be welcome to shoot with us.
Being new to the TC area I don’t know any traditional shooters yet. I want to start stump shooting soon but I’m not sure yet where to go. I’m working second shift now so I can only shoot in the mornings. I’m hoping to meet some retired guys that shoot early.
Maybe we can hook up and shoot sometime before Compton’s

Karen and I will be back again. Wouldn't miss it or let the fire pit monster scare us away.
