I have mine up on a rack in the basement. Never too cold in the winter, and never hot in the summer.

Mine are racked and perched on just about every ledge in the house. I hope the heat and humidity leave them alone. I don't flee to the North when it gets hot here anymore so I hardly shoot outside durring the height of Summer. Yup my shooting season is drawing to a close when it starts to get 99 degrees and 99% humidity.

During the winter I practice in the basement 3 times a week so I keep them strung and hanging in the basement-ready to go.
I've got kind of a den down there with a few mounts, bows, arrows, pictures, weights and a desk. The sort of stuff we like!
I shoot diagonally from there, through the entrance to the far corner of the basement.
Like Longstick said, it is always relatively cool. The bows I don't shoot I don't leave strung.

I have some hanging in my office(at home), some horizontal, some vertical. Most are unstrung except the ones I'm actually shooting often. (Depends on what's in season at the time)
The rest are in a climate controlled storage unit.( That way the Wife has no idea how many I actually own....... and I like it that way!)

Unstrung and lay horizontal on a rack in family room. But I always carry one or two in my car cause I stop by archery range almost everyday.

I laid hands on a skullcap mount of antlers from a European Red Stag from an antique store in Hollywood, when I lived there. Who knows how old they are? I rack my bows in that rack!

I have mine in a small space in the back entrance. I try not to let my wife know how many I have (for goor reason), but the other day she looked at them and said, "How many of those things do you need?" Well boys, 11 bows are not nearly enough but will have to sell some before I buy more. Getting the look!

Hanging on the wall in my shop. I keep two old ones I dont shoot there also. So if a new one apears, I put and old one in the closet. The secret is to keep open pegs in the wall at all times.

I have four hanging vertically on an interior wall with no direct sun light from a window and two are laying flat down on bow shelfs in a closet. All are located in my hunting room. My wife calls it the spare bedroom. Silly girl!

Mine are hanging where ever I can hang them in the house, all unstrung except for the one I'm shooting every day, but my wife keeps moving them to the closet to hang where I can't admire them.
I tell her I get more because I can't see how many I have.

I hang mine on a pegged longbow rack shaped like a Diamondback Rattler that is skinned with an actual Diamond back Skin. It's in my office where I can enjoy looking at them and dreaming of the next adventure any time I like.
