New Whisperstik
« on: March 14, 2010, 12:38:00 PM »
Took a drive to JD's yesterday and picked up this new little guy. It's his new 52" "Boomslang", named after a deadly little tree snake in Africa. It's 52@30 and not only does it look good but it handles very well with my 30" draw. I shot one of his prototypes back in January and ordered one on the spot. Since I'm the first archer to take delivery of one of these new little bow's this is "Boomslang #1". Cocobolo riser with Bamboo cored Michigan Osage limbs. One of the pic's below has the little guy next to my 60" Mojo Stik so you can get a good side by side comparison.

I took a drive out to JD's house back in early February and placed an order for a 60" MojoStik.  He showed me the new 52" model and it's sweet.

What a wicked little setup...rightly named too!  :)

Very nice indeed!  He was telling me about them all fall long and I've seen some prototype photos but not a finished product.

They rip an arrow from what I hear.

I'm with Claudia, out of all the bows I've owned the Whisperstik grip fits my hand and feels the best to me.

Tom, the grip JD is doing on this little bow is a cross between a mini Asbel grip and a Griffin grip. Very nice. He's been working on his formula to hit weight on these little guys so he has a few in stock that he's built up for sale until he gets it down and starts taking orders for them.
