Fox Longbows ?
« on: April 25, 2007, 06:58:00 PM »
I may have the opportunity to buy a Fox Longbow and just looking for some feedback from those who own or have owned.

Thanks in advance for all responses,

I don't know much about the original style longbows, so can't comment on them.
I do have a High Sierra T/D recurve that is one of the finest shooting bows I have owned, and beautiful too!
I also shot a couple of the newer model longbows Ron had at Kalamazoo earlier this year.  I think they were called the Royal Crown and the Triple Crown?  Awesome shooting bows!
In my opinion the Fox bows in general are some of the finest I have seen.

I just got a new 53@28 66 inch takedown classic longbow.  Its a work of art.  Shoots great!  Have a friend that had a couple of fox recurves, also great bows.

I've never owned one but I have handled a couple. They are very nice bows.

The breed to me is amazing. Love the longbows too. It's very difficult to miss with them. The High Seirra is a fine bow just not my style. (which works out well for Whip     ;)  )

I've not owned one but two guys in our club have them and they are some of the nicest looking, well made bows I've seen.

I've shot them a few times and they are good bows...I wouldn't hesitate to buy one of I had the money.

Owned a Breed for years and killed a ton of critters with it. Owned several longbows by Ron King, and Ron Fox. All great shooting bows with classic lines. fast and forgiving. In fact I have an original Ron Fox Longbow for sale in the classifieds...I am suprised that it hasnt been sold yet!
