Larry Sutrees got me thinking
« on: March 20, 2010, 07:14:00 PM »
Larrys skills with leather got me thinking. I have been making arm gaurds and tabs for a while. I should make something for the kids and the St Judes Auction. Then I got to thinking I have a coyote that I got a few years ago all tanned up that will make a good quiver. Then with a little work this is what I got.

Randy, that is VERY nice.
The old order is passing. Swiftly receding into memory are the days of strong, earnest men who followed an atavistic yearning to pit their skills against wild animals.

I agree on both counts.  On the other hand, for every guy like Randy who can do that kind of beautiful work there have to be a few of us whose talent lies in bidding on it.
