Birthdays are a special day that we all get to enjoy one day of the year. When we are very young we look forward to them because it means we are one year closer to being "grown up". Somewhere along the line that perspective changes and it becomes one year closer to being... "OLD"..      

I think the best thing about birthdays are the well wishes from family and friends. Knowing that people love and care about you gives you a warm feeling that makes up for the fact that you're a little closer to being older than dirt...   :archer:
