Pics of my Big Jim's Thunder Child
« on: March 23, 2010, 01:52:00 PM »
Ok guys and gals,

This is the Big Jim Thunder Child bow that was announced a month or so ago. There are some pictures of this bow already floating around, but I had the chance to take some additional photos of my bow. This is a 52" thunder child that I talked Jim into building for me. He advertises that he makes them 54" and over, but for my whopping  25" draw, he took on the challenge of making a slightly shorter bow for me. The limbs are black/white ebony and the riser is gaboon ebony, black/white ebony, with white phenolic accent striping.  I already own one of his 58" buffalo bows, and this bow is just as impressive! It does have the forward handle design, as opposed to his buffalo bow, but it is just as smooth and quiet! Do not ask me how fast this bow is...I do not know or care! I will say it is fast enough! I know that many have been asking about this bow, and I am sorry that I have taken so long in posting these pictures.  There are many fine people out there with fantastic products, and I hope that one day I will have the chance to meet them and there products. I just wanted all to know that Jim and his Thunder Child have yet to disappoint!

It is the kanati by Anneewakee Archery. They are in the sponsor list up top.  Nothing but good things to say about that quiver as well!

Reminds me of my kanati that I put beaver tail grip on.
It's a sweet bow I'm sure.
