Turkey rig
« on: March 25, 2010, 10:02:00 PM »
Im going to try my hand at turkey hunting with the bow this year.  I've got two bows but not sure which one to shoot.  Does anyone have any thoughts on shooting a turkey with a 48 lbs. bow?  My treadway is 48 at 28 inches.  The other option is my acadian woods t/d recurve, 54 at 28.  They both seem to shoot the arrow broad combination that I put together quite well, an old troy breeding lodge pole pine shaft with a 160 simmons tree shark.
