Not to bash Snag by any means but I've allways shot POC shafts & was just recently looking at the surwoods & hexshafts-opinions?

Hi Two Dogs! No bashing taken. The hexshafts are a laminated shaft, correct? Please correct me if I'm wrong. When you glues wood it enhibits it's natural ability to bend. I like shafts that will bend with the grain and flex back the same way. Seems gluing wood to form a shaft would take away from the perfection of a good straight grained shaft.

Personally I would go with Douglas Fir over Hexshafts. Have both and prefer Fir for sure. No comparison really. Flint

Josh, I'm glad your happy and they are shooting great for you. I ran out of tea so, eating my hat would not have been a good way to come home this evening with nothing to wash it down with! Whew!
I'm about to make up 1/2 a doz. 60-65 spines for a longbow I just got.

I just finished up a couple dozen surewoods. Like has been said before, quick service, absolutely straight, and very difficult to decide which should be the nock and point ends. I will definitely be a repeat customer!
