U-stuff animal targets
« on: March 29, 2010, 12:48:00 PM »
I recall seeing one of the big archery shops carried burlap targets that you stuffed. They were not your typical square, but actually shaped like different animals. I went to Kustom King and 3 rivers, but dont see them. Any help would be great.
thanks,
Ken
I'm not a "deer" hunter, I'm a bow hunter that occasionally shoots a deer.

Our club has the 3 legged bear and both the Greater and Lesser Ardvarkian.

They make pretty good targets, but the kill area will wear out.

Get stuffed animals at yard sales and use them as well.

I take the plastic 100# feed sacks and trace out animal shapes on tham and sew on the line, cut off excess, and stuff with plastic bags, works good and they are cheap.

Hey guys I just thought I'd let you know I've shot the same U-stuff it target for about 7 years so far. Its a turkey and I stuffed it with plastic I found on the construction sites I was working on. I really packed it tight. I'am still shooting it. I'm just now getting a few spots where the arrow will stick out the back. They are awesome targets!
