If only Joe could see the pics, can you imagine how he would love that? I bet he'd cry. I know I would.

I wanna know about your bow, too.   :readit:

Thanks all for reading.  This story is definitely a "work in progress". I will let you know how the story plays out come fall, i have high hopes. I went back in today to scout. It is huge country...almost intimidating.  you can walk for hours and still have as much land in front of you as you have put behind.
The bow you see is the new whisperstik boomslang, the original prototype.  52" of pure functional art!! The most incredible spalted beech limbs and awesome curly maple riser!
I plan on scouring the ridges this weekend, if i find anything good i will take pics and let you know.

Great story, I would be taking a stand in there with me and putting it in the same tree if it is still safe. With those rubs there is a bigun in there.

Thanks for getting back to us with the pics of Joes hunting ground. Its great you found the place. Don't move the table or the stand, this is sacred ground now. Just remember to pass the torch when your hunting days are numbered!

Pete, how do you get your deer back on the kayak?  I bought one last year and have been mulling the idea of using it for hunting.

Great story, by the way.
