used different arrow wieghts for different distance shots while shooting 3d? Ive noticed that my lighter arrows hit where i look as long as i do everything right at 40 yards but they hit hey at closer range my hiever arrows shoot godo out to 20 yards but drop off fast. Im shooting my first 3d league with the recurve and i was wondering if anyone has ever carried different wieght arrows for different distince or if its better to stick with just one arrow

Never tried it, but anyone that golfs might like the idea. (Different club for different shots). I guess I'd stick to the same arrow and let my brain do the adjustment, but then again, that's just me. Try it if you like the idea. It's your archery, so enjoy it.

When I shot 3D I shot my hunting bows and hunting weight arrows. For me 3D was just practice for hunting.

Most 3D shoots have rules stating that all arrows need to be identical. So multiple weights for distance would be against the rules. As are multiple lengths.
