how about a local (NY) stump shoot?????
« on: April 04, 2010, 09:05:00 PM »
would love to have a get toget with Tradgangers and do a local stump shoot. i have a great area to do it. beautifull mountain with semi easy walking and great scerenry!!! i know abunch guys of the top of my head that i'm sure would love to go like Bowspirit, Ron W, Cylic Rivers, Haratio and sons, Adirondackman, and a few others. i live just of exit 28 on the NYS through way and we would be shooting about 20 min's from there. was thinking start out early and maybe pack in hotdogs, burgers and such or coming back out for a bbq? would like to do this before May 1 as that is turkey season. would be a great chance to try out new bows and maybe put some face's with names. any interest?????

Man, I'd love to, but I'm out of commission for the next 2 months, having surgery on my bow hand tomorrow morning.

3Feathers, Little Falls is about 35 minutes west of where we are at. You are to close not to come...lol.

Depends when it is.  MHTA has a shoot scheduled 4/24 and 4/25.

ok i'm thinking the 17 or 18th, or the 24 or 25. Sat or Sun would work for me on either of those weekends. as a point of referance on map quest i'll give ya 141 Church Road, Johnstown NY 12095 which is my mothers address as it is right where we will meet. this is just a stump shoot bbq, nothing extravagent, a chance to meet fellow Tradgangers and have a good time. depending on the number of people i would hold it on the mountain or a 1000 acre state park. i would be able to show anyone looking for a good place to hunt in the Adirondacks some prime PUBLIC realastate that they could hunt ANY TIME they wanted to ALONE! i share all that i have.
