You know I'll be there if possible.  I have this weekend to play and have visitors from out of town the following weekend but     I might have to run a few errands during the day   :goldtooth:

The Last weekend in April, well we'll see what temp the Hudson River is at.

I'm sure we'll catch up this coming weekend.
Relax,

The 17th or 18th would be good for me; but like Keith said, MHTA is 24th and 25th.
Looking forward to it.

Sunday the 18th looks like it would work for me. I may have a couple of other guys coming with me. Will see. We live in the Utica area. Did you grow up in Johnstown? I lived in Ephratah and went to JHS. Graduated in 85. Can't remember where Church Rd is off the top of my head though.

Dan,
i grew up in RockWood and went to Oppenheim, grad in 1989. Johnstown was exactly 9 miles down the road.

Ken,
I spent from 64 to 79 in Johnstown and like Dan I can't recall a Church Rd. Is it in the Meco area?

Some of my good friends went to Op/E. They lived in Rockwood as well. Their names were Rob & Jimmy Kilmer. Maybe you knew them. Is it the Church Road off of 29 in Rockwood that you are talking about? That was where they lived last I knew.

That is funny. Never know who might be on the other end of the net. What time were you thinking of for the 18th? Unless something out of the blue happens I plan on coming. What would you like guys to bring? Hope to see you all there.

I sure would like to give it a try. I am a old fool 68 that continues to try to master a recurve and so far sure have not done it.

If anyone would like to share driving I am in the area of Oneonta NY...the map quest says from my area it would be about a 1 1/2 trip....most of the drving is easy on Route 88...

well would welcome ALL but had only planned on this being and easy going, have fun stump shoot and bbq. as i said i could make it a weekend thing if people wanted to come up saterday afternnon or night. it is prtty easy walking if you take your time which will be no problem. i am going to hold a early season weekend deer hunt again this year around sept 27 or early Oct, that will be a full blown hunt!
I don't believe you will need to bring anything. after stumping we can eat at my mothers house which is very close to where we will be shooting. i believe i can supply all food and drink unless we approach over 20 or so people then i might need a little help. also ya might want to pack a fly rod. the stream behing the house holds 20 inch rainbows!!!

I can make the 18th..... looking forward to shooting with you again.  I'm sure I can still make it up that rocky hill.

I have a fly rod to pack.... but I could use some instruction on how to get a fly to hit the dang water.....
