Michigan bowfishing - pics
« on: April 05, 2010, 01:05:00 PM »
Season is finally here! The water is way too low though. Usually most of the grass in the first two pictures is flooded this time of year. The ones I saw were real spooky.

I'm looking forward to taping my reel to my old Ben Pearson Hunter 709 and letting a few arrows fly.  Good shooting, thanks for sharing your pictures.

That's the bow I'm using! Works pretty good. Man, we had some torrential downpours last night and this morning, so it should start getting better.

JSimon, what does that ditch/river look like now?. I was in the shop with ear plugs in and machines going, when I came out the storm had past over and the whole world was flooded. They say we got over three inches and it had come in less than an hours time.

Hey Jason I checked out the Grand River in the Portland area on sun night and there was some carp in the shallows. Missed a few but managed to get one. It will be a while now with all the rain.
