Who's waiting?
« on: April 06, 2010, 05:45:00 PM »
Anybody out there enduring the wait period on a custom bow? I'm in the middle of week 2 waiting on my new Lost Creek longbow. Feel like a kid waiting on Santa.

Let's hear about the bow you've got on order and how much time you have left in your sentence!

I have a Mutt bow on order and I don't have a clue when it might be ready but that's ok cause I know it'll be here before I know it. When you get older time passes faster..lol

Waiting on a new Zipper SXT Evolution. The wait wasn't bad until about a week ago. That's when Bill told me my limbs were glued up and my riser was roughed out.     Only problem is I leave for Dallas next tuesday. So the bow will probably arrive during the 2 weeks I'm gone.   :banghead:   At least I have a good reason to come back.   :biglaugh:

I've got a new Dwyer Endeavor on order that should be here late summer/early fall.  Yep, I'm pretty excited.  Hoping to see the Dwyer's at the Wis. Deer and Turkey Expo this weekend so I can talk some woods with them.

Darren,

Touch base with them.  I paid for a bow in full, up front.  The bowyer usually doesn't have that happen, so it kind of fell thru the cracks.  Most bowyers are used to some portion up front, the balance due on completion.  When they see "Paid In Full", they may think the bow has been finished and sent.  My bowyer was very apologetic and moved my bow to the top.  As they say, "Feces occurs!!"

OOOOHHHHH yeah.  I'm 7 months into a year long wait for a Frank San Marco.  He told me I'd have it by this hunting season and I believe him.

Shrew on, but it's a while so no pressure.
May add a Silvertip to the list later on.

Waiting for a checkmate hunter II should get it around June or July. I bought one off of the adds here and had to order another after shooting it for a week . Chad is great to deal with! I am sure that the one I am waiting on will be as great of a shooter as my curent checkmate.

We all know it wont be our last waiting list to be on for bows though ;-)

Yep...waiting on my custom Whisperstik from J.D.  I spoke to him today and he's finishing it up this week!  :)   Hopefully I can pick it up next week and start breaking it in for this year.
