I was about to wait 15 months on Blacktail Elite VL. However, someone (lefty) that ordered one changed their mind. I found out last Friday, bought it on Monday and received it this past Wednesday. I love the bow!  One-piece, 62", 50.8# @ 28 inches, 46 at my 26 inch draw. Cocobolo riser footed with Myrtle and same patteron on limbs. The footing costs $150 extra. The grip is my first checkered grip (free option) and it feels amazing!

Ordered a Black Widow TD about a month ago! Should be here around the 20th of May! Can't wait as I feel like a little kid again. This is my second try at traditional and feel it in my bones differently this time! You all seem like a great bunch of guys. Thanks.

I don't know how you guys do it.  I've been making my own for a few years now and the 1 - 2 week wait for laminations and other supplies when I order them is almost too much for me.  I really feel for those of you that are waiting and can't get in touch with the bowyer.

My photographic skills will not do the bow any justice but I'll try.

All this waiting.......That why I shop the classifieds. You just have to wait for the right deal......which usually don't take to long.

I thought I'd be coming off the list since my Maddog Mutt bow arrived but since I posted about waiting for it I ordered the number 2 Classic from Vince at Mohawk. It looks like I'll stay on the list for a little while longer...lol

God bless,Mudd

ron w, unless your left handed, then you may never see what you're interested in.  :banghead:

Isn't it great that we like different bows and there are so many good bowyers? Man, if we all like the same bows there would be a waiting list for years!

The waiting is near it's end for me.  My John McCullough Griffin shipped yesterday.  It should be waiting for me when I get home thursday night.  I guess I'll have to post photo's to edit off the list too.

Just talked to Chad at Lost Creek, and my first custom will be ready to ship tomorrow!!! It's done sooner than he promised and he says it turned out sweet.

Can't wait to send some arrows downrange immediately. Practicing my back tension right now...

The feeling waiting on a new bow, especially when the due date is upon you is something. It is almost embarrassing... the anticipation. My wife (32 years) thinks I've gone completely nuts but I think she gets a kick out of the kid in me coming out.

I am waiting for a Howard Hill Archery "Tembo." The order went in at the end of March and it should be here mid May. Not too bad and it will be my first Hill.

After waiting for 12 months, my bow is ready to be shipped.

I will probably have it next week  :goldtooth:
