Congrats! PM sent.

I see you use the corner windows too. I find that orientaion gives me the most room with my longbow.

Hi All,

Saturday morning was a textbook hunt.
Saturday afternoon was a nature documentary  :)

We didn't get birds to come in to the decoys, but we saw plenty in the fields, and a dozen deer including  a doe and a yearling who didn't know what the blind WAS, but they knew they didn't LIKE it.   Played 'stomp&peek' with us for a good 15min until they got bored and wandered off.  We waited them out (even though it was after legal turkey time) just to not spook them or let them associate the blind with people.   Really shows why you have to either leave your blind set up for them to get used to it or brush it in well.  Turkeys walk right by but deer notice changes.

Not quite the same success as BigDog, but it was a good afternoon out all the same.

Sunday we took in the all traditional shoot in Chelsea PQ (Special Guest Star Frenchymanny) which was a great time in spite of the wet start.

Next weekend it'll be back to the turkeys

Jake
(who is feeling hopeful with all these wishes of good luck!)

I'm confident that Jake will get one on the ground this coming weekend, we have a good spot and so far 2 toms have been shot off the same flock of hens.
We shoot them, a new boy comes to play...LOL
Now that we have one under our belt, the game seems a bit easier.

Good luck JAKE!( on a tom)

Very Nice! Congrats!   :clapper:
Someday you and I will take the Great Hart by our own skill alone, and with an arrow. And then the Little Gods of the Woods will chuckle and rub their hands and say, "Look, Brothers. An Archer! The Old Times are not altogether gone!"
