Did anyone see the portable mirror blind to use for stalking?  It reflect the ground below it so you automatically blend in with whatever is in front of you... Showed a vidoe of a guy walking across an open field toward a flockof turkeys on a slow steady walk... Then when he got close enough he put it down and shot one of them.  Ohhh the satisfaction of a successful stalk!

Horn porn at the Wisconsin Deer expo. Lots of big bucks.  I have been to the Illinois, Wisconsin and Iowa deer classics this year and have seen way too many gargantuan mounts, I think I am beginning to lose my perspective on big deer.

The brothers of the bow booth always had a line in front of it.  I didn't have a lot of time for picture taking so I took this one from the side.  You can decide if the side profile is the best angle.

Whip is arm twisting an archer to renew his WTA membership.  Smiley has the broken wing.

This is a curious location for the crossbow booth.  Across the isle was Dwyer longbows and two booths down the Wisconsin Traditional Archers.  Life is full of little bits of irony.

This is my son walking up to the Dwyer booth.  He just got this woolblend, short brim umpires cap.  I think it would be a real good archer's cap.

RER bow booth.

There are always several novel things you get to see at an expo like this when 30,000 people show up.  Some of the things you marvel at is all the different kinds of people, the new, useful and borderline useless products ( I saw an improved version of the gut wrench at this show)and some just plain drop your jaw, boy thats neat type of stuff.  This bear mount caught my interest.  This half bear mount is probably the biggest black bear I have ever seen.  The pictures do not do it justice.

This is my booth at these shows.  You get kind of tired of talking after three days but I do enjoy most of it.

Yours truly, Mrs. Sherpa and Jacob.

I'm not sure Steve, but we always had a lot of kids and hunters coming up to say hi to Gene and Barry. Ha! Good times up there in Wisconsin.

Thanks for posting the pics John!
At least I got to see a little of what was going on.

My physical therapist says I'm doing great! I should be ready for Comptons in June.
