My first bow was a bare bones Rampart Recurve. I have shot several of the top end bows from well known bowyers including some that have a cult like following on this site. The Rampart shot better than most and none beat it. I only sold it after receiving a self graduation present from myself because it was far too nice of a bow to be sitting unused. If anybody I knew purchased one after trying out several different bows, I would tell them they made a smart and great decision.
