I know, for me, that confidence in my equipment is an important part of bowhunting. We are each unique so what equipment makes us confident will be different for each of us. But it is also great that we are similiar so we can share are thoughts on this web site.

Personally, I am leaning towards shooting what I can afford... doz gamegetters is $55 and a doz carbons is $100... so I'll be shooting aluminum.  Like its been said, a well tuned arrow with any razor sharp broadhead in the hands of a skill archer is meat on the table!

That said I was just given some woodies and they are a joy to shoot and pretty too!   :campfire:

Geez Ron Do I have to?  I was going to leave some for you at the range but thought better of it.  Now I know why you have so much archery stuff--You borrow it all out.   :biglaugh:

My arrows aren't completely done yet but they are close. Looking pretty good for a first set if I say so myself.
Relax,

I have shot Aluminum, carbon and wood, even some old micro-flites. If you get arrow flight you are good to go. Good arrow flight, is good arrow flight no matter what it's made of.

Just call me fickle... I can't have enough ammo (arrows)... I dig wood, carbon and 2016's all the same! Love making them up. Never worried about breaking or losing any. Arrows are made to be shot! Not looked at, IMO.

Recurve, longbow, selfbow... Same, same it's all good.
