Lets see your Boar / Hog Mounts
« on: April 28, 2007, 04:05:00 PM »
I've asked my taxidermist to raise the hair on the back of the neck of the mount that I've got coming. Has anyone got a mount with the hairs standing up? or a pedestal mount? Really like to see them, I've asked my taxidermist to mount my Tennessee boar that way but would like to see the finished product,,Thanks,,Frank

Sergio there's a really good taxidermist close to here. He did an amazing full grizzly mount and was working on polar bears last time I was in there. Great guy. If you want I can give you more info.

Take care

Javi with hair standing up...yes, wife has it hangin' in the garage. I think the mohawk would look good on a boar with a lot of Russian/Euro traits too.

But I really like skulls best...I know, dust BEFORE you take pics of mounts!  :archer:

I like the boar to be in a natural position, relaxed, as they are in the woods.
