John made some outstanding performing recurves and longbows.

john is battling cancer and no longer making bows.  last time i heard, he was doing well and battling through.  my prayers go out to him and his family.  john is a great guy and i have enjoyed the many hours spent on the phone with him.  if anyone can beat what he has, its him!

Johns Ballistik is the best recurve I ever shot. I used to be a dealer for him and spent a lot of time on the phone with him as well. Good man.
