Check Alabama Society of Traditional Bowhunters.
Also Bowhunters of Alabama they are compound, but usually have some trad.
ASTB has a shoot April 24/25 at Tannehill Park, near B'ham.

Stabow, I also live in Wetumpka as well as a couple other trad shooters that I know of. In addition to the shoots at Tannehill, Bennett's archery is just up the road and has a 3D course that you can shoot for about $5. Maybe we can get together for some shooting sometime.

It doesn't matter how or what you shoot, as long as you hit your target.

Stabow

I'd be careful - say " I was forced to move back to Alabama" or something   :bigsmyl:    :goldtooth:

And this from a guy from Woodstock, Ga., that runs around after pigs?  Now that worries me.

Stabow ... welcome to the Wetumpka area.  I see Mark has already greeted you.

I live just north of town off HWY 9.  Bennett's archery is void of any trad stuff, but he tolerates me (LOL) and I shoot his 3-d course a good bit.  HE has gone up to $7 a round, but there is rarely anybody else on it buy me (when I have been on it).

The BHA is having a shoot in Autauga Co north of Prattville this weekend.  They are very trad friendly over there.

Welcome home Stabow! Be sure to attend the shoot next Saturday at Tannehill. Don't worry about finding a group to shoot with, its no problem at all. Look for a short mid age couple where the wife is a whole lot prettier than hubby and come up and say hello, we might can shoot a round together.
