Bill makes some beauties, including take-down recurves.

Does anyone know how to reach him?  Looks like someone has hijacked his website:   www.zonacustombows.com

Action wood is typically a laminated maple that has the abilty to recover with great efficiency.
A preferred limb core choice by many bowyers.

Dymondwood is typically laminated phenolic impregnated birch and is significantly heavier than action wood. Dymondwood may be preferred by some bowyers for risers to add stabilitiy, rigidity, shock reduction, tougness and possibly for obtainining specific color schemes.

Dymondwood also has thinner laminations and is basically indestructable.

I have a green camo action wood hybrid coming . Riser and limb cores are green mountain camo with a veneer of grey bark on the belly all under clear glass.
I'll post pics later
