That's one of the qualities of his bows, they are very quiet.

That bow is a looker.      If it were mine, I'd name her, "Black Death".   :scared:

2fletch, in looking at the string I notice two white objects a short distance apart, what are those? It may be just my poor vision but are those the buttons that can be placed on a string so that the shooter doesn't need a glove or tab to shoot with?

RonD, these are for nock point reference. I used white B-50 to wrap a 5/8" serving above and below the nocking point. I would use the no glove only for youth bows or for a bowfishing rig.

What string material was used to make your string, assuming that the string on your bow is the one that came with the bow? I keep coming back to look at your bow in anticipation of getting mine. Probably still a ways down the road before it arrives. This will be my primary hog bow.

Here are a few pics of mine. Bocote Riser, Osage Lams, with Maple core. I made-up the leather grip yesterday. She shoots real nice. She's 56" AMO, and draws 46@26.

That is definitely a beauty Danny. Dave not only makes a beautiful and quality bow for hunting but it is extremely affordable as well. Are there anymore folks out there with Beeler longbows that could post photos of their particular bow?
