Some stump shooting pics
« on: April 18, 2010, 09:31:00 AM »
It sure is nice being out in the woods this time of year. I got one of those "clip shot" camera mounts that 3Rivers sells a couple of years ago. I haven't used it much, so I thought I would take it along and get some self-portraits. That thing is pretty slick. I just attached my camera to an arrow that I stuck in the ground for the pictures of myself.

Good deal, might have to get one of those. That Quinn Stallion makes them stumps live hard.

I love stumping threads! That area you are in looks a lot like a place I go trout fishing. I need to get out again soon.

Great pics!  Love the woods this time of year when everything is greening up after a long winter.  Eric.

I try my best to stump shoot everyday. My bag is spilling over and stumping gives me better diversity. My shooting has improved since getting away from that darned yellow bag.
But this past winter I was glad to have that bag indoors at 10-12 yards.
The pics are great. I love the woods and streams. It's not a lot different than my place but maybe a bit cleaner.
We had a tornado that took out trees by the bunches a few years back and I left them lay in the bottoms.
Stumping is my favorite sport.

Wow that's some nice looking country.  Never been to Michigan-maybe someday I'll have to go take a look     :campfire:
