Arrows for my SweetHeart.....Pics....
« on: January 07, 2007, 10:34:00 PM »
G'day all,

Well I thought I better learn myself how to splice up some feathers so this is my first go and it was easy after you've done it!I did it the long way though, and I was shocked at just how long it took!

These arrows are for my Wife, Kelly, as she is starting to get the urge back for Archery.

I wrote on them... "My last Breath" in latin. Something I always promised her I'd give. I always told her that when away in the Infantry/Army. On operations and at home. Fitting for a set of arrows I thinks!

Oh and thanks to Mr RicK D for the quiver. Kelly thinks it's her's now...lol

Those are beautiful. What is the cut of the feathers? Like that, as well.

Great Alan! I'm showing this post to my wife. If she'll pick up her bow again I'll try to make some arrows for her (or I'll send you some cash and pretend I did it). By the way, your "test" arrows should be there soon. Gday, Mike

Alan, you never wrote anything "special" on the arrows you sent me! Seriously, beautiful job and sentiment. Mike
