First time

Waa outside shooting with my daughter yesterday afternoon. We were working on her form and she was shooting good.

Then I asked here to take a picture of me shooting.
I draw back, release, and then Ping...
I had a string break. The picture shows the arrow and the string leaving at 90 degrees from my bow.
Pretty scary, it was the first string I ever had break.

I'll be sending an email to the sponser where I bought the string from. The string maybe had 200 arrows threw it. Scared the Bejesus out of me.

Just wait until you have a carbon arrow explode on you...had it happen with an AXIS last year.    Glad you and the daughter are o.k.  :scared:

When I have had strings break, it was my fault for having rough or sharp spots at the limb tips.

Glad you or your daughter was not hurt.

I had one break on a recurve quite a few years ago (first stick bow). I was at the range shooting at 3ds and let one go and snap. I though I hit a tree limb and broke my bow. It is scarry. Alan
