Revived a special bow...

This is a Browning Fire Drake, that was my first traditional bow. My father bought it used for me when I was 14 or so. I used to mess around with it alot in those years, but was always a compound only hunter. In recent years I've gotten back into traditional hunting and really jumped in deep! This was a 45@28, but I was able to trade limbs to get a set of 55# limbs for it. So I cleaned it up, built a set of arrows for it, got a string made up and it's shooting like a dream! I've been shooting it alot and it's shooting great! Just thought I'd share, and hopefully this year it will prove to have some serious mojo!

The embers were lit long ago and now the fire is roaring-hope you have a fine journey and good luck this fall.

It's never seen any action other than having killed a few chipmunks and birds along the way (which my mother still doesn't know about)
I just may let some of my more "high priced" bows hang a while this fall, and make some more memories with this one!

Most all my other recurves are 60" or less, but after shooting this one so much lately, I forgot just how much I like the forgiveness of a longer recurve!
