Went to the swamp today after arguing with a Turkey most of the day. Mostly scout/pig huntingtrip. the River has finally fell out and the porkers are slowly making their way back down.Did`nt get any shots but saw a lot of sign and several turkeys.Almost got a shot at a Gobbler .

One way to escape the flood waters if your a palmetto bush..
Gotta have a couple of lazy reptiles...

The snake is an Indigo Black Snake. They are on the endangered list I think. I see`m all the time. Beats the heck out of seeing cottonmouths.RC

Looks like a great day out. Snakes - I was worried about them all the time in Zapata TX when I was visiting Alex G - and I never saw one...lucky I guess.
Still would like to get some chaps though...spent alot of time looking for snakes instead of jav's.
