Jake....how's it going down on the border bro?  Good luck finding some fishing partners....Good to see you posting here.

I went to Three Forks ponds last week with the family to try out my new Zebco set-up on some small carp.  It worked good so I'm looking forward to some Canyon Ferry carpin in a few weeks.  Been out lookin for bears once.  Friend of mine saw a Griz up in Buffalo Horn a few days ago.  Early spring this year....so far.

Well I hope you keep posting here so we can stay in touch.  Meanwhile...good luck with everything you got going on.  I hope your lovin your new gig.
Randy.

Doesn't the Rio Grande river run right thru there?  If so there should be some BIG talapia round there somewhere depending on the size of the river in that parts.  Lake Falcon is a beast of a lake also.....great gator gar, but I've heard the water has been low for a few years now.

A friend and I bowfished Choke Canyon Park area in Texas 8 or 9 years ago. They had a real nice camping area in the park. Shot some fish but the water was like 20ft down that year they stated. You would need to find someone with a boat for sure.

It would be worth the time to just drive through and see all the pigs, javelina, turkey and deer in the park.

Visitors use to and still do throw corn out along the road. So when you stop the truck, all these animals come running out of the woods.

We had a Javelina chew or extension cord in half while charging a trolling motor battery.
