Theres A New "Huntin Guy" in town!
« on: April 26, 2010, 08:37:00 PM »
http://i122.photobucket.com/albums/o244/2crazyboys_photos/dscn1383.jpg[/IMG]                   Nathan,Jack and I got out for a bit to refresh my blind before Sunday morning and brought along his new Mikuta longbow and a quiver full of arrows that MC Hammer so generously gave him.Jacks downhill dust cloud is him chasin arras.Nate thought about following him but I talked him out of it.Charlie, when he saw that run with all the tracks he said "This Looks Like The Deer Like Making Tracks Here." He had an awesome time and is really starting to get a feel for shooting that bow.Im gonna enjoy our time while it lasts, before soccer and baseball take over and then it'll just be Jack and I.I dont know what kind of plant that is that hes hiding behind but Double Bull aint got nothing on that.Saw a lot of sign and he was very interested in all of our "Discoveries".

I ran into a plant much like that in Seneca Rocks, WV. It tasted like celery. We didn't die.

You're a lucky man, Izzy, but I think you make much of your own luck.

Izzy- that young man has predator written all over him!

Not sure, but the plant looks like cow parsnip, we have it here also.  Careful with it, edible some times of the year but can cause bad burns from an acid that is activated by sunlight.  Have had some of the burns on my legs before.
