This one's my favorite.  This is my son with his first trad kill - wooden arrows he made, public land, from the ground, etc.

... or maybe this pic after we got the buck home ...

Im trying to smile but the sun is shining right in my eyes.  So it looks like im pissed at the world.  Trust me you couldnt have beaten the happy out of me that day.  I spent hours upon hours watching this deer and to get a crack at him on the first morning of the year was a reward I didnt expect to get.

Biggie is that a A-frame Widow in that pix of you with the turtle? I used to have a couple of those.

Clint, great pix! You know how to set them up.
It's really simple. Just don't take those borderline shots. Tomorrow is another day.

Hey Gun, yep, best fish bow I ever had...those were 70# lbs and I could shoot rays 8 feet down.
It only took one dryfire though 8-(

This is one of my favorites. Amy helped me track this one as it was taken near the house. She was quite overcome with emotion at the whole process and just gave me that hug while Ma was taking pictues. It brings tears to my eyes every time I see it. She is 17 now and a great teenager!

These are all sooooooooooooo "Keeper pics" but that one above, of Gun and his Daughter when she was young, has got to be considered a "Family Heirloom". Bless your hearts.

Regardless of who, what, or where, one thing remains the same. Emotions run high, memories are made, and the respect for all the wild things shows in the smiles.

Many happy returns of the day to all.

Thanks for sharing.
