I'll second that idea

I hope to make it for the whole weekend this year...bringing rubber boots and rain gear...that way it won't rain.

Whip...if I bring a couple bows for refurbish will you have room to haul back home or should I just ship them to you?

The wife and I are gonna make it this year, so I'll be sure to keep an eye on this and stop by the gathering.  Should be easy to spot Joe - I'll look for the guy in the funny hat....wait there'll be lots of guys in funny hats....

On another note....if anyone is interested, we'll be involved in a blood tracking seminar on Friday afternoon with information and a presentation about blood tracking dogs.  We'll have a super secret expert guest there to give the seminar!  Hoping to put on a demonstration as well. Should be interesting.  If nothing else stop by and say "Hi!" to the pup...(I'll be the guy getting pulled around by the weiner dog).

Ryan,

Do you think you could talk your Dad into coming along with you ??? I have talked to him several times on the phone......own both of his books and would LOVE to meet him and shake his hand, as I am sure many others would too ???

Hey!! I resemble that remark!  :biglaugh:

I like the idea of the bow exchange.  Doubt we can get the shooting range dedicated strictly to us though.  Vendors will need to allow customers to shoot, and we don't want to tick off the vendors.  Nothing to stop us from heading to the shooting range on the way to shoot the course though.  Definately bring your bows along for others to see.

I look forward to Compton almost as much as a hunting trip - always a good time!

Oh, and Terry - yes, I do plan on picking up bows at the show.  They can be dropped off in my booth anytime.  I'll be posting a reminder as the time gets close.
Thanks!

Yep.  I plan to be there as well.  I like the idea of mixing it up to do some shooting.

My wife and I are planning on being there also. I'm coming along great after my hip surgery, I think I should be ready to hit the courses. Let's hope for nice weather this year.

I might even go out turkey hunting in a week or two!

I'm planning on being there...Compton is a must attend event IMHO.  Besides, if I'm not mistaken, I believe Whip still owes me a beer from last year.  :bigsmyl:

We'll be there!  Like Whip I REALLY look forward to Compton.  My kids start talking about next year on the trip home!

Great ideas so far.  I was late to the get together last year & everyone was gone.

Whip,

I'm gonna pick me up one of those Bailey hats. I've regretted NOT buying one since last year. I'm not sure of the size, so I'm gonna try 'em on till I find one that fits.
