Tell them thanks for being so patient with the slide projector problems, glad we got it fixed.
Still some of the signed books available folks , dont miss out on this new book and signed to boot , Toxicated is sure to become a classic.

I plan on being in Oregon in 2011 and 2012, probably June in 11 and last weekend of March in 2012.  If your're in country, I'll put you on our list.

You have no idea how much information on Howard Hill the Don Carson manuscript has provided. Little did I know that when I unknowingly purchased Don Carson's personal, inscribed and signed copy of "Will Adventure" by Howard and Elizabeth Hill, that Don held most of the final pieces within those pages on one subject.  I've been going back through it with a fine comb this past week.

Thanks for hosting Fred and friends and giving his book a good send off.  It is a really good read and he spent considerable time and expense getting it where he wanted.

Hosting Fred was definitely my pleasure Cliff, he is a real gem . Having Steve and Larry here as well was just to much to handle all in one day, those of you that did not make it really missed out.
I think the best part was lunch time as all of us gathered on my deck while I barbqued  a spring King salmon donated by my friend John , then got back to the serious job of old hunting stories and ideas shared.
God willing I will be here at that time period and we can hook up as well, I will even dig out the original manuscript of the Early Adventures with Howard Hill along with the photos and scrap book , you will love it.
I dont know if I ever shared this with you but when I met with Ruth Carson (Don's wife) she said she was so glad she found me as her children didnt care about archery and all that stuff would have been thrown into the trash! Can you imagine the history lost.
Ron , I still have a signed one for your order.

That event had to be quite a treat for all, and sorry I missed it.  These legends are scheduled for a showing at the Western States Rendezvous over Memorial Day weekend...and I will NOT miss that.

Ted - just wanted to say thanks for the quick delivery of my signed copy.  My wife is holding it for me for my birthday next month.  Being an archery book collector I have quite a few books but in all honesty I don't necessarily read all the books; however, I know that I going to enjoy reading Fred's book.  I echo Liquid Amber's comments concerning "Early Adventures with Howard Hill" by Don Carson -- it does fill in a lot of history, and it is a great read!  Thanks again!    :)

Please save me a signed one. I see you're closed today, Monday. I will call you tomorrow.
I have two of his bows and his first book and would love to get the signed edition. It would mean a lot to me.
Thanks, Mack, North Carolina

Got a signed one set aside for you Mack , yeah we are closed on Mondays.
Glad you others received your books , enjoy the great stories.
You are welcome on the Early Adventures with Howard Hill, I knew as soon as I found the manuscript Don had written or should I say it found me  that I needed to publish that , no easy task publishing a book , let me tell you and Fred has done a great job with both the Traditional way as well as his new one , I love the name  "Toxicated".

Hi Ted,

I will be calling later to day to order a copy and get a T-shirt. Hope all finds you well. I read Fred's last book on between my hunting trips to Illinois & Wisconsin last year and I felt like i was taken back into time.

Quite a compelling writer. had the honor of meeting him many moons ago (1988) at a trad shoot in Mass. I was with Al Reader at the time.
