hunting bow set up

ive been workin real hard on a hunting bow set up. i bought a recurve bow from a fellow tg'er. a pse kudu. thanks jeff its a good lookin bow. i also got a kanati quiver from john dill , it looks and works great too. here are some pics of the set up. . i was pretty frustrated with the hush puppy install  :mad:   after ruining a perfectly good product and kicking stuff around awhile i decided to use the puppy remains like cat whiskers( improvise,addapt, and overcome)

ive also ut a new b-50 flemish string, because i shoot wood arrows. another frustration is self tied  string nock withe dental floss      even with super glue they dont stay there long. ive also tried shooting with a tab a little better results but not where i wanna be.

Looks like you are doing pretty darn good to me!  Now, you just need to learn to use the edit button on photobucket to rotate your pictures (you can do that and edit your post here and repost them) so we don't get whiplash!      Just kidding!
That is really good shooting especially for bare fingers!

You might try to double or triple sevre your string just enough that your fingers don't get too sore, I used to shoot with an old timer who did that and never used a tab or glove agagin. Good groups though, keep after it and good luck.

I'm pretty new to this, but the only better shooting at 20 yards that I could see is the "robin hood" and that's a bunch of busted arrows. That's good shooting in my view.

Nice looking setup and some good shootin' to boot. I hear you on the hush puppies. I couldn't get mine on worth a crap so I threw them out and used yarn on a couple of bows. They are pretty quiet.

The arrows you use do not denote the string you use. That's up to the bow. If the bow will take Fastflight or similar high performance string you can use it. It is possible that using a high performance string will require a stiffer arrow.
Of course, there is nothing wrong with using B-50 if that's what you want to use.

Try a Screaming Eagle tab. It is a simple cordovan tab with no splitter. It is the next thing to shooting bare fingers, without the sore fingers. I have been using mine for two years and won't go back to a glove again.

thanx for the positive comments fellas.ive been workin hard on this setup to make sure i have no issues with it before 2010-2011 hunting season, 2009-2010 was a bust for me and ate some perty bland tag soup. well not this year . i like shooting with a b-50 string , it works well with woody arrows( thicker diameter i imagine)ive also shot with a glove for yrs,i have off and on issues with it. i just recently been trying tabs. there is a story behind that one.i dont know how to serve a string so i'll just keep going like this till i figure that one out too.my 2010-2011 hunting season will start after ncta hickory shoot. alot of scouting and setting up blinds  and stand locations. im determined not to eat tags this coming season thanx ruddy
