You're right Gary, I'm blown away by everyone's support, it is greatly appreciated
Been some talk lately here about turkey tackle and results...so I thought I'd describe my set-up, and exactly how it performed.
I was shooting my #58 black Jack Kempf Kwyk Styk "Cy". Arrows were old CX Terminator hunters,46/60's, with 160 Snuffer on a 75gr. steel adapter.
I believe they weigh in about 560 grains....
At the shot the arrow appeared to just hang up on the fletch end. I say this because I remember it in the bird, but mostly out, when he first jumped up and started cart wheeling.
As you saw in earlier picture when we approached "Neight", the arrow quickly fell out while he attempted to get away, and he drug it along on the end of the #30 string.
The Snuffer went thru at least the near lung(hard to tell if it hit the other lung,it was a mess in there) and cut off the front of his heart as it exited on front of his far wing butt....

As you can see in the pic, his leg is nowhere near where it was when the shot happened as he walked in a half strutt. Check out the cut on the front edge of the thigh. That was from when the Snuffer hit him.
The reason it's so out of place now is from carrying him by the feet. He's stretched out.
Anyway, just thought I'd share....
