Took less time than it will to pry the story outta him!

And the song, from beginning to end, I found again in the heart of a friend.

I said after the "MISS" it would be better with Cade calling for you.
The poor guy is so wiped out that he is having a hard time even telling the story.

Great job guys. Maybe I can borrow Cade to call for me next year.

Of course this is coming from a guy who hasn't had a shot at a turkey in 9 years.  How old is Cade again?

Couldn't be happier for you two!

Sorry guys, but this whole weekend has been chaotic, add very little sleep....whoa!

This one is very, very special....I'll try to get to the good parts quickly and keep this a little short...I want to write something up and hopefully get it published so "we" can have something in print to help cherish this time together.

The morning started out like this after roosting 4 gobblers last evening and setting up about 100yds. from them....

I've never been more confident that we'd be "knee deep in gobblers" very quickly. But, this video was a sign of what was to come(not answering me).

They all flew down,  and waited for the hen to come down. She did, they all left with hardly a glance!  I couldn't believe it!

But I could hear all kind of gobbling going on in other parts of the orchard. Cade slept for about a half hour...
•

The set-up...
•

I woke him up and we packed up hoping to find some action on the other side of the orchard....

Duty calls, but I promise to finish this up tonight....lots of pix to share...

Are you kidding! Gonna leave us hanging like that?

Curt I bet that boy of yours will be a bowhunting machine in years to come. I ain't been around long but I've seen enough to know he can probably out shoot most of us here.

 Congrats.
