POLL "What weight are you shooting?" POLL
« on: May 04, 2010, 03:23:00 AM »
I asked this question before    http://tradgang.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=1&t=088347    ,but so many of you are answering, that I would like to make a poll out of this one.

So sorry to bother you again!

The question is: what is the weight you are shooting, expressed in a ratio of arrow-weight(grains) and drawweight (pounds)

The answer comes in gpp.
It don't mean a thing if it ain't got that string! [/i]

I answer of 11gpi is based on my recurves hunting arrows.
My target arrows are a lot lighter at just under 6.7 gpi.
My bow is warrantied to 6.5
Winning or losing is not the important thing,,the important thing is how well you played the game.

I can't vote in this poll. I have three bows and each one is a different poundage which runs from 11.85-14.13 grains per pound depending on which bow I'm shooting. The poll isn't setup for multiple bows with different poundages so I can't choose just one answer.

I marked 10-11, but actually should be 10-12. 11 + - seems to be the best.

Looks like I fall into the "heavy arrow" category even though I'm shooting light poundage bows.

FD

Have you broken the data down in 0.5 gpp increments? This information may be more compelling.
