I missed again also.

I'll try again next year.

I did a quick count of replies on here.  So far there are 22 of us that struck out.  Last year's odds were about 47 to 1.  If we can get 25 more of us on here, we should be able to find someone that got drawn.

What about it guys?  Surely someone got lucky this year.

No Terry, I've just been too sad to type     "[dntthnk]"

There were almost 45,500 entries for 800 tags. Maybe next year. I was just telling Lowebow that I'm glad I didn't get drawn. If I were to kill one then I'd be out another $1200 from my taxidermist and no where to hang it. LOL.

Heres a link guys to check your luck.

After applying since the beginning. I finally drew a tag. It's a cow, but I'll take it anytime.

With a push of a button I was let down. Now I will still keep my fingers crossed for my moose permits in New England.

"You were not selected for an Elk Quota Hunt this year. Thank you for applying. Good luck next year."

Just check and that was my reply.  Maybe next year.

Thanks guys, I've decided to go primitive for the first time on this hunt. I'm starting from scratch so I'm afraid I'll have tons of questions for you.

Gee Whiz!  No wonder I didn't draw.  If the rest of you guys would just quit putting in, my chances would be a lot better.  :^)

Congratulations screamin6x6!

No luck here, either. I've gotten rather used to the let down.

Does KDFW use the 'preference points' system for the elk draw?
The great bow twanged. The black arrow sped straight from the string, straight for the hollow
by the left breast where the foreleg was flung wide. In it smote and vanished, barb, shaft,
and feather, so fierce was its flight.~J.R.R. Tolkien-The Hobbit
