Cool picture Gary!

Like so many insults, those who were called Redneck adopted it with pride.

Not had a chance to see the book everyone is talking about. Looks like I am on the hunt for a copy now.

I was curious about this "book mark" until I read it was supposed to be scratch and sniff.  I'm not curious anymore.

"By the way, the final printing of the infamous bookmark was scheduled to be done in scratch and sniff...."

I don't even want to guess what the bookmark was going to smell like!

my favorite item in there was the new line of underwear with the pre-printed strips in them.

I thought for sure that would end up a winner.

Ned's from Louisville Biggie which isn't officially part of Redneck country.  Sit down at a well-to-do restaurant in "The Ville" sometime and try to order sweet tea. At the least you'll get the "you must be a Redneck" look and at the worst a corrective comment concerning how "we don't serve that here!"

I took Jerry Simmons and Byron Ferguson on a bear hunt one spring, driving up through WI and MN. If I only had a dollar for each time they fussed about how the folks "up there" didn't understand how to properly feed and water a traveling Redneck:^)

The dedication pretty much sums up the flavor of the book...somethinbg like "We dedicate this book to a guy named Tobey that we met outside of a truck stop one time.  We didn't get his whole name but he had a cool looking bike".

A very generous individual, whose name I will respectfully withhold, has offered to mail me an autographed copy. I have rarely been on the receiving end of such generosity and it has really made my week.

I loaned my copy to a buddy of mine.
When I bought mine I was just starting to read book on stand to pass the time.

THIS IS NOT A GOOD BOOK TO READ ON STAND.

Tough not to spook game while laughing.

Well,
I had to have it after reading these posts. Got a used autographed copy for 25 bucks off Amazon. It has to be right up there with the fine classics; Shakespeare, Thoreau, Hemingway, and Pee Wee Herman.
