My wife and I have been taking advantage of the wild bounty this time of year as well....morels and ramps.

We have enjoyed meals of venision loin, morels, and ramps twice now in about 9 days. As I told my wife, this is "splurging"......she says it's just "eating better than anyone else around here!"

Certainly makes one feel good about being a hunter/gatherer!

Nothing better than venny burgers and onions at work.Take them a couple times a week.Poor guys who eat out of the vending machines don,t have a clue.I would even share with them for a place to hunt......

Oh yeah!!! just had some morels and organic eggs for lunch. Have some venison burgar thawing for din w/ morels.
