I won't take a shot over 20 yards so even if I'm hunting a new area, I'll find some way to close the distance where I'm confident of killing the animal and not take a chance of wounding it. To each, their own.

Really liking the magnusI. Flies great, and after a little reshaping with the file, sharpens great with my KME(everything I own gets honed with a KME). Gonna be my go-to head with whitetails and turkeys with the wide cutting diameter. Also will have ace standards in the quiver. Will also use STOS 160s as my go to for elk. All will weigh 200grs.

Haven't decided yet, but it will be 2 blades. Will probably go with a speed, flat shooting, lightweight setup and slower heavier FOC setup. Maybe use the heavy FOC's in the real thick, bedding area edges and lighter setup in more open areas.Broadheads will be Zwickey, Magnus, Tusker or Ace of some weight.

Been using Zwickey 2bld Eskimo since early 1970's.  Have taken elk, deer, moose, grizzley, Mt. Lion lots of turkey, javelina, etc.  They are the best and easy to sharpen and you don't have to morgage the farm to buy them.

Just bought a pack of Eclipe 2 bld last year.  Very similar to the Zwickey.  I am impressed.

I got some Battle Axe heads Monday.  These baby's are wicked looking.  I can't wait to see what kind of a blood trail they make.

Depends on my which bow I pick up, but it will either be the old Magnus 2 blade or the old Bear 2 blade.  Operable word here is "old".  If it works, I don't change it.

Zwickey Delta 4 blades on most things...deer and bear for sure.....and I'll have a couple of Zwickey No Mercy 4 blades in the quiver for hogs of any size also when I'm in hog territory.

I'm also going to order some of the new Trail Blazers from Kustom King to play with....and I wouldn't be afraid to use them on anything.

A broadhead that gives the me best accuracy at long range will also do so at close range. And that's the head I want at any range.   ;)

Well for me its all close range.  There is one condition that I will choose a different BH - wind.  There are times here when the wind is well stupid!  Getting close is the best option, I also like to increase my odds with a head that's real wind friendly.  So far the old Howard Hill BH is the winner in the wind arena.  Some others are real close, but the Hill seems to slice through and stays pointy end forward.  H
