Reducing Bow Weight?
« on: May 10, 2010, 03:14:00 PM »
I have an amazing recurve that Ibought and it's just too heavy for me to be really comfortable with...I have tried to trade it but there's just not market really for heavy bows...I would like to get the weight reduced but I don't know any one that does a good job or even where to begin looking...If anybody could suggest someone I would really appreciate it...

Also the bow is 73lbs @ 28"...what could I get this bow down to weight wise?

You can also check with the person who made the bow. Most bowyers can tell whats possible with their own product.
In the beginner's mind there are many possibilities. In the expert's there are few...So the most difficult thing is always to keep your beginner's mind...This is also the real secret of the arts: always be a beginner.  Shunryu Suzuki
