Hey Chris... Maybe you can put some little pink bows in your hat!   ;)   Good job buddy!

Haha...good one, Mikey. Unfortunately, the hat isn't finished yet. Just thought I'd pull it out for a test run.
Ron, that was my stumping arrow. Everything else is covered by a fletch cover. As for the hands...couldn't find my gloves. Was hoping some blind jake would wander by...   :bigsmyl:

Glad we didn't use you to the yotes, Ken. Forgot to tell you that on the way back, a large tom walked across the road in front of that farm by your place. I just slowed to a stop and commented about how that's pretty much my luck...

I have had the same luck with the coyotes they have chaseed off birds twice on me this year. I had them dogging though might decoys opening morning but no shoot. No season here on dogs in fact you get paid $20 to shoot them and with lambing season most rachers will throw in another $20. Great story keep it coming.  :coffee:

the whole time we were eating ( bout an hour ) we could hear a tom gobbling just down the mountain, a real loud mouth! was some nice music to eat breakfast to! when we finished eating we decieded to go after him. snuck in pretty close and set up. didn't take much to get his interest and he was coming to us! then we heard the worst thing a turkey hunter can hear when you have one coming in, thats right a low down dirty hen!! well he gobbled to me, her and in another direction, got himself all kinds of bothered! at one point he was in view of Chris but just to far out. he got to about 40 yards of me but could not see him!!! he had to be gobbling for a good 1 1/2 hours and we just could not close the deal!!! man what a time, to just be able to play the game with bow in hand is a win to me and this morning will be remembered for a long, long time! and when deer season rolls around Mr. Yote will not be so lucky!!!!!!!!!!!

I smell BACON! BaconbaconbaconbaconBACON!!!
Dang. I gotta find some time to go cook some bacon somewhere green and quiet. Uploading video now to Photobucket for the BBTC thread. I heard a bird that I should recognize, but can't bring it to mind. Got a video for the sound. Gonna be a while, so I better turn in. I'll run it by y'all when I get done tomorrow.

Sure is nice to have folks think about you when they are in the places where they go for thinking good thoughts. An honor, really.
