I have a pair bought at a Rocky Mtn. Elk Banquet 12 - 15 years ago, and they are great when it is cold--here in East Texas that is not often. They hold up great and still look like new. A little heavy, but not bad.

Overall thumbs up.

Not a better all around boot out there IMO.  I've used them from the cactus flats of Texas to the sheep mountains of the Yukon.  They are not perfect for everything, but if I was faced with having only one pair of boots to finish off my hunting career, it would be a pair of Schnee Hunters--13" tall

Like Steve O said.  I've had my Hunter's all over the U.S. in different hunting conditions and they preformed well.  Had the rubber boot replaced after about ten years of use.  I think the charge was $50.00.  When I got the boots back they looked brand new.  The leather was cleaned and oiled, new laces and tongue savers.

Great boots. You will like them. They are the only boots of their type that really fit me well and are comfortable for me to wear in challenging conditions.

I have loved mine since I lived in Wyoming and used them elk hunting in snowy conditions, but the biggest endorsement was when the sheep guides at Arctic Red River in the NWT used them almost exclusively.

I have 4 pair and love them. One pair, 16", I bought in '82 and are still going strong. Call them and they will get you lined out on the sizing. Mike

I've used up pac boots from LL Bean and LaCrosse over the past 45 years.  Popped for a pair of Schnee Hunters about 5 years ago.  By far the best pair of pacs I've ever worn.  Warm, comfortable, easy on/off, great liners.

Wish they made wide sizes,  when I asked they didn't make them.  Can get tight with heavy socks.

A buddy has a pair and really likes them.  I have a wide foot and like to wear 2 pair of socks when hunting mountain country and they are too narrow to work for me.  They don't make a wide version.
