Early season Oklahoma carp
« on: May 17, 2010, 10:03:00 PM »
Well guys, the turkey whooped me again this year.  Due to work restrictions and other set-backs, I didn't get to go as much as I had hoped.  Now the season is closed and I shifted over to my favorite; fish.  Last weekend it was overcast and cool, but beggers can't be choosers and I decided to hit the lake for a few hours.  I put 12 in the boat.  None were to big, but it was a lot of fun.
[ on the surface a bit.  It was dead calm (which is rare in this state), so you could hear them sucking the top back in some of the coves.  Made for some fun stalking.  Got one dude right down the pipe!  Bullseye!

Wow! You folks are so lucky! We have lots of flood water due to the rain but the water temps are waayyy to low.  Can't wait til it warms up.  If it did, w/ all the water we now have, there would be fish everywhere!  Would be so much fun.  Can't wait.
