2 Blades ?
« on: May 18, 2010, 09:36:00 PM »
when you glue them on,

Do you want them horizontal or vertical to the ground?  I have heard both, is it a preference thing or is there a better way to glue them on?

I like horzontal, but can shoot them either way.  It's pretty much a personal thing.

I like them vertical so the back edge touches my finger prior to release.

I always mount mine horizontally then give them a half turn clockwise if I'm shooting right wing feathers and counter clockwise if shooting left wing.
It works for me.

I like Horizontal. My thought is the arrow flexes horizontally more at release than vertical until it starts spinning. If I mount the blade horizontally maybe the head won't affect the flight as much.??

I like mounting mine canted so they are horizontal when I shoot. As long as your set up is tuned well it really doesn't make much differnce. I've shot them vertical and horizontal but I prefer them horizontal. How ever you are comfortable and confident in is what works.

I prefer vertical, but with one set of arrows using the large 160 Magnus I had better flight with them flat.

I have them horisontal.
Just so the sight picture always looks the same.

I mount mine vertical but have shot them mounted horizontal. as far as sight picture goes i look at a spot on the animal not the whole thing, try one of each and come up with your own conclusion.

Honestly, I don't even think about it. Just glue 'em on & spin 'em til they're straight.
