Hi Bill, too bad I couldn't have stuck around longer. I was going to send you a PM about a signed green stripe B riser that came up on another site, but it was gone in minutes.
Maybe next year I will be able to camp at Baltimore and we can shoot a few arrows together too.

I have a 49# 60" 59 repro that Ed made for me. I liked it so much, I have a Kodiak Special on order. These bows are beautiful and they shoot great. I use his bow exclusively. Ed is a great guy, and he makes a wonderful bow. There are alot of great bowyers out there but I am kind of biased towards the Holcomb bows. I recommend that everyone should have at least one. or two.
I think my life will be complete when I put an order in for one of his Drake bows.Cool stuff.

I also have 2 Holcomb 59' replica's. One in 51#, one in 47# and also a 57' Bear repro that Ed graciously gave to my 5 year old son....it's 25# @24". To say Ed is a first class gentleman is an understatement. But, as far as hs bows are concerned...they are first rate shooting implements. Fit and finish are the finest in the business and as far as performance goes these bows are rocket launchers. They really cast a flat shooting arrow....don't know how you can beat one!!!! Do yourself a favor...get two!!!..My opinion...john

Yeah Jackdaw and 18cent they do have a nice line and shooting with you two I can attest to there cast. I would probably even consider one if it wasn't for that "high gloss" finish that Ed insists
on putting on his bows. Ouch, but hey, if you ever get lost in the bush up North, who needs a mirror to signal!!
Good Shooting,
Craig

We'll remember that Craig as we're boarding the Rescue Pipercub....you'll just have to resort to firing three shots in the air...should be interesting in bow season though!! We'll convert you to the shiny side yet....with the cast of these bows, by the time they see the "shine", they are all ready seeing the bright light at the end of the tunnel...besides...they do make bow sleeves for you doubting thomases...see ya' at Shade Mountain Bowmen on Saturday....john

Jeremy, he dosen't make the 57" in 64"...or any of his models for that matter. He makes the 57" in 56" and 60"....the 60" is a really good shooter. My friend from Ohio has one in 60" and one in 56"....he likes both. His 62" Kodiak Special is really nice....chrystal lite with zebra wood limbs...great stuff.....john
